I come from Switzerland. My name is Andi.
Every single day, I get to take a journey to another international country and meet special people and learn to communicate with them. The unique thing is that I don’t need to book a flight to go to another country; I meet special people from all over the world because my job is to teach them the German language.
It’s an interesting job - my students are from all over the world, from a wide variety of backgrounds and circumstances – each has a story.
Each day I widen my horizons and gain experience by being surrounded and interacting with so many different nationalities and cultures. I love working in this environment, as the most difficult thing for people coming to Switzerland is that of communication, especially for the first timer. Even for the Swiss, the difference between the Swiss German dialects to the formal German language isn’t’ always so easy.
As a native Swiss citizen, what I appreciate most are the mountains. This is a most exciting playground where I go to relax and calm down.
One day I hope to master wing suit flying. That is relaxation for me.
